'Lift Me High Up is a story of victory of hope over despair. It is based on the true (dramatized) story of Mohit and Lavina Harjani who were killed in the Mumbai terror attacks as they dined at the Oberoi Trident Hotel and Fund Manager Rene-Thierry Magnon who killed himself because he could not face the pressure following the Madoff scandal. Amidst the global financial meltdown - as these and other events drowned the joys and formed the current recession – a group of teenagers, a construction worker and others moved around us emitting hope – sending a message that ‘given a little hope – humanity will always rise and hope will always prevail over despair!'
